Mass Effect on IGN’s Games of Summer

IGN has released a list of their most anticipated games of the summer of 2007 and, not surprisingly, Mass Effect has made the list, along with a host of others. IGN had this to say about their high hopes for the game.

We aren’t really sure when Mass Effect will finally release. It may wind up slipping into the fall or winter. Call its presence on this list as a hopeful inclusion. It is, after all, one of the most highly anticipated games of the year across all consoles here at IGN, and with good reason. BioWare has a tradition of excellence on Xbox consoles with Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire. Mass Effect is not looking to break that streak. With gorgeous visuals, a promising sci-fi story and an entire galaxy to explore, this is one RPG that everyone should have on their list of games they need to play.
