Mass Effect Gameplay
Published by Hexadecimal on July 13, 2007
In addition to the sexy demo I posted earlier, Gamespot have posted a portion of the stand alone gameplay as well, to give us a juicy peak without the geniuses talking over it. The scene is a conversation between Shepard and Wrex discussing his wish to join the crew in going after Saren. It beautifully showcases the awesome dialogue system being used for Mass Effect, as well as the intricate details in the digital actor’s faces and the tight voice acting.

Awesome! Nice one, Hexi.
I just wanted the developers to know that I love the game and hope they don’t get bullied by conservative nut cases. Number one the “sex” in Mass Effect is very tastefully done (not that it matters to me) and is a great part of the game. It is a game for adults, just like rated R movies are for adults. Not to mention love and sex are very natural components of the human condition and only add to the universe the developers have created. I wish people would just stop worrying about stupid stuff like this and concentrate on real problems…like war and death. Long live love in video games and I hope the next game takes it even further. Games need to continue to “push” the limits and move forward not backward. Congratulations on a great game and keep up the amazing work!
