Mass Effect Forum: Easy Come, Easy Go
Published by projectego on August 9, 2007
Kudos to those of you were quick enough to catch a glimpse of the prototype plugin I was using for the Mass Effect Forum - I know you managed to, Hex.
I’d say the forum script, which is a fantastic piece of coding called XDForum 2, lasted all of thirty minutes before I deemed it necessary to pull the plug. It’s not that I didn’t like it, it’s just that I underwent a bit of difficulty whilst attempted to fully integrate it with the site and I’m afraid I didn’t have the energy to try and troubleshoot it. Oh well.
But fear not! For a Mass Effect forum is still on its way and will make an appearance in the not-so-distant future. I was merely testing some alternatives. You’ll also be pleased to learn that the Mass Effect Forum will be powered by the phenomenally powerful vBulletin bulletin board software which is currently powering the Fable Forum, Devil May Cry Forum and Assassin’s Creed Forum - all of which are part of our cosy little network of gaming sites.
