Bioware have recently released some information regarding the PC version of the DLC package for Mass Effect Bring Down the Sky. Suggesting it will be available from launch day of the PC version and also be free but for registered BioWare community member only.

It’ll be available on launch day - May 28 in North America, June 6 in Europe - but you’ll need to be a registered BioWare community member to get it.

Bring Down the Sky’s already available for the Xbox 360 version of the sci-fi RPG, but it costs £3.40 through Xbox Live Marketplace.

The content is the first in a number of planned downloads for the game that’ll expand your Mass Effect experience.

Bring Down the Sky features a new mission on a renegade asteroid which makes up for around 90 minutes of additional gameplay.

A Batarian extremist group has hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Commander Shepard has to save the millions of innocent civilians before the asteroid hits.
