Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky Expansion Pack Available Now

Published by projectego on March 10, 2008

The highly anticipated, first expansion pack for last year’s RPG blockbuster hit, Mass Effect, has finally been made available on the Xbox Live marketplace today! The first Mass Effect expansion pack, called “Bring Down The Sky”, features a brand new campaign mission that sees you, Commander Shepard, squaring off against Batarian extremists whom have hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system.

Here’s the official Mass Effect: Bring Down The Sky blurb (source):

Batarian extremists have hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only you can save the human hostages on the asteroid and reroute it before it crashes into the world, killing millions of innocent civilians.

This downloadable content (DLC) for Mass Effect costs a very wallet-friendly 400 Microsoft Points - which works out at about $5 - and allegedly features around an hour and a half’s worth of play time.; as well as an additional 50 unlockable Gamer Points up for the taking.

The Mass Effect: Bring Down The Sky expansion pack is available now so be sure to head over to the Xbox Live marketplace and download this exciting new chapter in the Mass Effect saga, now!

Edit: Looks like both me and DD somehow managed to post this at the same time! Although, to be fair, DD did get in there first. :P

I was just looking for a forum to ask a question about batarians for why are they in the Galactic Codex and not in the game i guess my question is answered.
