Some very early footage has been leaked of Mass Effect 2, recorded on what seems to be a phone. Possibly taken from GDC as BioWare were said to have shown a brief gameplay snippet of the sequel at the session last week.

Some Mobile Phones have just as good cameras and video recording capabilities than actual digital cameras these days. So probably would be wise to ban those too from now on.

I like how one of the cinematic scenes show Shepard and an Asari, presumably Liara, using one of the Citadel transports. I think that's cool as you never actually get to see one of the transports being used by your crew in the first game. I am so psyched for this game even though it's a year away!!!!

yeah its kinda dumb to ban video cameras when someone can use their phone

The sound and picture quality were crap, unsurprisingly, but for somebody covertly using a cameraphone that was the best camerawork I've ever seen.

Hell, that was damn good camerawork with a REAL camera, compared to a lot of what I've seen.

Looks interesting. But a new HUD for some reason, or was I mistaken in that impression? Or was it just an early placeholder or something? I do like that we get to see more of the Citadel (what I'm assuming is the Citadel. In ME we got either closeup right-inside views or way far out views from orbit. You couldn't really get a very good idea of what it was actually like, even looking off the balconies that were in places.

The HUD and Inventory system in Mass Effect was unnecessarily cluttered so think they aimed to fix that. This is very early footage though so who knows at this moment.

That might be true. I would know for sure, but I tried to find my copy to start playing again and failed miserably. I really hope I find it soon. And that the HUD is better. I would probably agree that the inventory was a bit over-cluttered, so I do hope that improves.

Well even the PC version of Mass Effect had a vastly improved inventory screen over the 360 version.
