If they were to make a movie does this sound like a good cast?

Shepard: Matthew Fox or Chris Evans
Kaidan: Sean Maher or Billy Burke

Joker: Seth Green
Jenkins: Jerry Trainor
Doc Chakwas:Katey Segal
Wrex: Mickey Rorke (voice)
Garrus: Josh Lucas
Anderson: Keith David
Hackett: Lance Henriksen
Presly: Linus Roach
Adams: Kim Coats
Liara: Alexis Bledel
Tali: Alice Braga
Saren: Sean Pertwee or Billy Zane

Seems some decent choices in there but i also think that Wentworth Miller or Dominic Purcell would be good as Shepard.

Wow, those are good!
This is one of my favorite games, haha.

I always thought Jim Cavaziel kind of reminded me of Shepard.

Naaah. Drakan (or somebody) posted a pic of some actor who looked liked deafault male Shepard's clone one time. That guy right there... I don't know, maybe he needs a haircut?

Lol, well if every actor didn't get a part because they needed a haircut, I'm not sure how far they would get.

I actually saw that guy in a crappy movie about vikings vs aliens or something...and he reminded me of Shepard. Though, I'm not sure how well he'd live up to some of the other prospects out there.

I'd actually just like to see a computer animated movie of Mass effect. Like a giant cut-scene. I think this way, they can use all the original voices, and there wouldn't be any worries as to who didn't live up to which character etc. I'm pretty sure they'd come up with something amazing.

It could be. On the other hand, I'd probably end up sitting there going DAMNIT. This cutscene never ENDS.

Might be cool, might not.

Ok I guess I have to be the person who says it...I want a FemShep for the movie. Someone like Rhona Mitra from Doomsday and Stargate: Universe. I think that what we need is another Ripley (from Aliens). I mean come on, hot girl, big guns (the kind you shoot), tight outfits...who doesn't agree with that! I just con't stand the idea of Matthew Fox being Shep. Yeah he looks like him but come on, he just doesnt have the "It" factor to command a squad of space marines. Gah! the idea makes me crazy.

Afraid it isn't going to happen. Just going from the fact that all the default advertising and stuff uses a male Shepard... my guess is that if they made a movie that'd be the version they chose as canon. And a paragon at that.

But wait, tight outfits? Have you LOOKED at the armor female Marines wear? Okay, so it's a hell of a lot more feminine than modern battle armor, but it is the least-sexualized form-fitting armor I have ever seen, and it averts the hell out the infamous chainmail bikini.

EDIT:
Warning, this is a spoiler!

And yes, that's Ashley, not Shepherd. It's still the same armor. And yes, I realize they gave up on vauge realism in armor for anyone but Shepard in ME2. I guess they couldn't stand going for more than one game without creating someone who dressed like Jack.

Though honestly, I would prefer to see Ms. Commander Shepard on a screen for two hours than Mr. Commander Shepard... it ain't gonna happen.

Also, I don't seem to have originally mentioned that I find it amusing just how perfect Seth Green is for Joker. I guess they modeled the character on him rather than just using his voice?

Also, yes, this is an old thread and normally I would bitch about necromancing, but just look how little posting goes on here. We need anything we can get.

ALSO, my attempt at TVTropes-entrapment for the day has been completed, thank you.

That's definitely a good looking cast. But honestly, I hope they end up making a movie based on the First Contact War... excluding Shep and a majority of characters from the ME games.
