Default Ascension Novel

Am I the only one who has read it, just out of interest? It arrived this morning and I finished it by lunch - I like how it makes reference to the game in terms of the ending (and assumes you have chosen Anderson over Udina to be in charge) but it also focuses on Kahlee from the first book and spends a lot of time with the Quarians, which is very interesting in itself. As my copy is mass market paperback there were the usual silly spelling errors but other than that I really enjoyed it - probably a little more than Revelation.

Anyone else? Or am I the only ME novel geek here?

I plan to order it today, at work (library), from the Marina system if my branch and county don't have it. I'm looking forward to it, and with the huge gaps I have between my classes right now I'll have PLENTY of time to read it.

Was counting on you Walker

It does make me wonder what will be in the next game...although I doubt Drew would have written this book with the full script of ME2 in front of him.

Still, even if it is unrelated for the most part to the game, it's still a great book to read alongside it

Me? Read something? Why would you expect me to do something like that?

To my horror, only one county in Maryland will admit to having a copy, and while it has two it won't lend either of them to other counties. So I might have to actually BUY it. NOOOOOO!

I have to express my secret shame (yeah, I have lots of those): I'm hoping to get it for Christmas, so I'm not even going to look for it until then.

No not really as far as I remember it was very vague as to what happens directly after ME-1 so I dont think you'll get any spoilers, but you owe to you're self to play and beat the master piece.

Also there are a few character references from the first book so you may want to read that one if you havnt

[shrugs] Honestly, I have no idea. I just got it for Christmas, and it's in the stack of things waiting to be read.

My guess would be... no?
