Which Games Will You Be Getting?

Just out of curiosity i wanted to see which games people will be purchasing over the next coming months. Also what titles people have their eyes on for the future. My list is as follows:

Mass Effect (Xbox 360)
Assassins Creed (Xbox 360)
Call Of Duty 4 (Xbox 360)
WWE Smackdown VS RAW 2008 (Xbox 360) (Maybe)
Timeshift (Xbox 360) (Maybe)
Army of Two (Xbox 360) (Maybe)
Kane and Lynch - Dead Men (Xbox 360) (Maybe)

No more spring to mind yet but im sure there are lots.

I keep changing my mind but I am looking forward to the following:

Mass Effect
Assassin's Creed
Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS
Sonic for the DS
Fable 2

Err....can't think of anymore right now...

It actually covers both games...Sonic Rush coz it's looks like fun

and the Sonic RPG because I want to see what Bioware do with the little fella

Not up to date with my Sonic games these days so wasnt aware there was another besides the Bioware one coming.

It's already out - has been for a couple of years, I think. There's also Sonic Rush Adventure which I quite like the look of too and that came out last month.

I just likes Sonic and have only played it on the Sega before...

That would be why i hadnt heard of it recently then if its already out.

Noticed all mine are 360 games, when i used to be an avid PC Gamer.

I like to use different platforms for different games - I'd hate to play Sims on a console when I like the PC format better, for example.

And Sonic on dual screen looks like a lot of fun

Yeah i know what you mean with that. My sisters had Sims for PS2 and it lagged and stuttered so much it makes you wonder why it was ever released. Im sure Scott had the same problem too and we spoke about that a while ago. I do like how consoles have started to get a more PC feel about them as of late. With the community tools like that of Halo 3's and ability to take screenshots and upload movies etc and the co-op bringing gamers together.

Yeah that dual screen looks pretty handy for things like that.

It also makes full use of the features for the DS - almost every game made for that console makes sure that the stylus, touchpad and buttons have a purpose and function during gameplay.

Consoles really have come a long way in terms of making the gamer feel as though they are part of a community which used to be only for those with a fast internet connection and a powerful PC. Having played games on some form of platform for almost all my life, I can really appreciate the changes that have been taken for granted by those more new to gaming...I look at Halo compared to Halo 3 and the advances in just a few years are incredible.
